To strengthen research on China, SMU may start courses for Chinese mayors

To deepen its understanding and research on China, the Singapore Management University (SMU) is not ruling out the possibility of starting courses for Chinese mayors. SMU has appointed Professor James Tang, currently Professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), as Dean of its School of Social Sciences with effect from 1 January 2011 for a term of five years.
