Professor Han Jin Kyung says activity-based venues add another dimension to the Singapore's nightlife and also gives groups of people with common interests a physical space to interact in activities such as the simulation golf bars for golf lovers and the video-game cafes for those who enjoy playing console games. However, such venues are more complementary than competition for the traditional bars and clubs.
