According to the latest figures released by the Institute of Service Excellence of the Singapore Management University, the Customer Satisfaction Index for the MRT system went down from 67 points last year to 64.1 points this year. The index for public buses fell to 61.1 points. Which leads us to ask the logical question: what about the taxis? Taxis may not be the most common form of transportation among Singaporeans but it certainly is among tourists in our country. Thus it is important to measure customer satisfaction levels as it affects Singapore's image.
