Buddhism scholar and researcher at next Lien Fung's Colloquium

Professor Wang Bangwei, Director, Institute of Oriental Studies, Research Centre of Eastern Literature and Centre for India Studies at Peking University is the next Lien Fung's Colloquium speaker.  He will be giving two lectures on 7 and 8 May 2010 on the topics of (a) ?Shadowless at Luozhou? and the ?Centre of the World?: A topic inspired by Master Yi Jing's journey to India and Nanhai and (b) ?Envoys, Buddhist monks, businessmen: China's interaction with the Nanhai region before the Song Dynasty? respectively.  Click here for more details and to register for the free talks.
