FXUni, the first foreign exchange education programme offered to universities, engendered a flurry of student interest at NTU, NUS, SMU and SIM. SMU EyE Investment Club (Research) vice-president Jason Yeo feels this collaboration provided an opportunity for students to increase their knowledge in an alternate investment class, while SMU undergraduate Aaron Tay, who was awarded fourth prize, commented that interest in forex trading is high as it promises quick returns compared to other financial markets.
