SMU appoints old S'pore hand as new president

Professor Arnoud De Meyer has spent four years in Singapore as the founding dean of Insead's Asia campus from 1999 to 2002. Currently director of Cambridge University's Judge Business School, the Belgian returns in September to take office as SMU's fourth president. Professor Howard Hunter who has served as SMU's president for six years, will continue as a Professor of Law, teaching both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as providing mentorship to the faculty at SMU.
