SMU Senior Lecturer of Strategic Management Whitney Zhang shared how the pandemic crisis has affected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore. Faced with this challenge, SMEs have to transform urgently. Their success in doing so would have an important impact on bringing about stable economic development and employment to Singapore. Dr Zhang highlighted the importance of business transformation, and the valuable lessons that SMEs can learn from failure, and how they can grow from this experience.
